The world's loneliest jumbo is living his best life in the wild

Once known as the "world's loneliest elephant", Kaavan, now 37 years old, is living his best life at the Cambodia wildlife sanctuary. Happy, free, and loving company, Kaavan enjoys his time eating and chilling in the water. A video of the elephant relaxing in a pond on a hot summer day has gone viral. He's seen lying on his side with his head underwater, occasionally snorkeling with his trunk. Sharing the clip on Instagram, the Save Elephant Foundation wrote, "Kaavan shows us his favorite way to relax and cool down." The internet was delighted to see the jumbo have a chance at life after spending nearly eight years all by himself caged in a zoo in Pakistan. "He is now living free and acting as any elephant should. Wild!" read on the comment.
