Karnataka 

It is a state in the southwestern region of India. Originally known as the state of Mysore, it was renamed Karnataka in 1973. The capital and largest city is Bangalore. It is the seventh-largest Indian state by area. Kannada is the most widely spoken and official language of the state. It hosts numerous spots of interest for tourists. There is an array of ancient sculptured temples, modern cities, scenic hill regions, unexplored forests, and endless beaches. It has been ranked as the fourth most popular destination for tourism among the states of India and has the second-highest number of nationally protected mountains in India. The districts of the Western Ghats and the southern districts of the state have popular eco-tourism locations including Kudremukh, Madikeri, and Agumbe. It has 25 wildlife sanctuaries and 5 national parks. The monolith of Gomateshwara Bahubali at Shravanabelagola is the tallest sculpted monolith in the world attracting tens of thousands of pilgrims during the Mahamastakabhisheka festival. The waterfalls of Karnataka and Kudremukh are listed as must-see places among the "Natural Wonders of World".
Recently, Karnataka has emerged as a hotspot for health care tourism. It has the highest number of approved health systems and alternative therapies in India.

Itinerary :

DAY 1 :
Arrive at Bangalore and transfer to hotel. Visit Vidhan Soudha, Cubbon Park, and Lalbagh. Overnight stay in Bangalore.

DAY 2 :
After breakfast, visit Visersnaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Tipu's Fort, Bull Temple, Gandhi Bhavan, and Ulsoor Lake. Overnight stay in Bangalore.

DAY 3 :
After breakfast, drive to Bheemeshwari. En-route visit Somnathpur Temple, a striking example of Hoysala architecture and the famous Shivasmudra waterfalls. Check into Cauvery Fishing Camp. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 4 :
Depart for Mysore - it was the capital of the Wodeyer Kingdom. On arrival visit Chamundi Hills and check into the hotel. At noon visit Mysore Palace and Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery. By evening, visit Devaraja Fruit and Vegetable Market. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 5 :
After breakfast, visit Srirangapatna - the capital city of Tipu Sultan - Brindavan Garden and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 6 :
Early morning travel by road to Hassan. En-route visit Shravanabelagola and check into the hotel at Hassan. Noon visit Belur and the famous Hoysala temple. Overnight stay at Hassan.

DAY 7 :
After breakfast, drive to Chikmagalur, the monarch's retreat of Karnataka. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 8 :
After breakfast, visit Mullaiyanagiri, the highest peak in Karnataka. Then visit Kallahati and Hebbe Falls. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 9 :
Proceed to Chitradurga which is famed for its massive Kallina Kote (Palace of Stone) fort, a marvel of military architecture made impregnable by the Nayak Pelagars. Overnight stay at Chitradurga.

DAY 10 :
After breakfast, drive to Hampi, the capital city of the powerful South Indian Vijaynagar Empire. Overnight stay at Hampi.

DAY 11 :
Start your exploration in and around Hampi. Visit King's Palace, Mahanavmi Dibba, Queen's Bath, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables, Pushkarni, Hazara Ram Temple, Vithala Temple, Virupaksha Temple, and Lakshminarasimha. Overnight stay at Hampi.

DAY 12 :
After breakfast, drive to Badami and sightseeing trip at Badami, Alhole, and Pattadakal. Overnight stay at Badami.

DAY 13 :
After breakfast, transfer to Belagum airport for onward journey.
