A 60-year-old woman was killed in a buffalo attack in UP's Budaun distict on Friday evening. Victim Sarvari Begum was a resident of Kor Majara village under the limits of Moosajhag police stations. She was sitting near the door of her house when a buffalo tossed her in the air and she fell on the ground.
Eyewitnesses said that the man herding the buffalo tried to stop it but it again attacked the woman with horns and she died on the spot. 
Zahoor Hasan, the husband of the victim, said, "The buffalo belongs to Munne Khan and it had never attacked anyone in the past. We are still not able to understand the reason behind the attack. Since it was not the fault of the owner, we have not registered any complaint." SHO Moosajhag police station said, "Both the parties have reached a compromise."
